Description of objectPanoramic detached villa on the beach consists on the first floor, of quite large entrance, living room, 3 double bedrooms with one extra single bed each, eat-in kitchen and two bathrooms, panoramic balconies and terrace above; on the ground floor large porch/patio area with outdoor shower; 4 car spaces and surrounding green space.House can accommodate comfortably 8 people (some extra beds are available) LONG OR SHORT LETS! A cradle for the Grecanic culture, the Southern Ionian Aspromonte keeps still today signs of its ancient origins, as crossroads of various peoples and languages, above all the Greek. That's why it has been for centuries, and it is also today, considered the ‘'cultural island' for the Greek of Calabria, the Calabrian Greek dialect, which is promoted by Grecanic associations and in the schools of the area .Here we can find the typical Calabrian landscape contrasts: the suburbs of the hinterland vs the small towns on the coastline with wide and golden sand beaches. The true Hellephonic area includes the small towns of Bova, Gallicianò and Roghudi, where the ancient Greek Calabrian dialect is spoken especially among old people. Tourism is very much connected to the cultural development of events about the local Greek tradition, an example is the Paleariza Festival, (“Ancient ROOt”), an ethnic-cultural-musical festival of national and international interest. It lasts 20 days, there are evening concerts, the possibility to explore the area (trekking routes with guides) and visits the most beautiful mountain villages and taste local products in the stands prepared in each village involved in this nice festival.
