Description of objectExperience real Spain here in a traditional village house set among beautiful scenery and orange groves. Algar is well placed for the beach and Valencia city but offers you the chance to explore more rural Spain and its wonderful people. Great for children, too, as the village has limited traffic, and the house is in a no through lane bursting with flowerpots and next to the main square. The children will love running wild and , if they need cooling down, the open air municipal swimming pool is 300metres away, again very easy to access.
The house has 2 apartments.The 1st floor apartment ( Apartment 1) has 2 double bedrooms,one of which has an 'alcoba', a traditional dressing room just before the bedroom and a single room. The kitchen diner is spacious with a fully fitted kitchen, washingmachine, fridge and a wood burning range for the cooler nights or just to create a romantic atmosphere! The kitchen leads on to the terrace which has a table and 4 chairs. The shower room is modern and fully equipped. The lounge has 2 sofas, television and balcony which overlooks the lane.
The 2nd floor apartment ( Apartment 2) is slightly larger with 2 double bedrooms and a bedroom with 2 single beds. It has a large kitchen diner, lounge area, large shower room and its own covered terrace with spectacular views of the village and surrounding scenery. There are electric radiators in all rooms, and bedlinen/towels are provided.
There is also a beautiful communal area on the ground floor with ping pong, library, darts and a patio. There are also bicycles for free use.
Location of objectEl Refugio is in a narrow lane with no through traffic, and full of flowerpots, ideal for dining outside, getting to know the neighbours whilst the children play safely.
Town: Spain, costa azahar, Algar de PalanciaThe village is set amongst oranges groves and the Sierra espadan and the Sierra Calderon, offering wonderful walking routes, yet only a 20 minute drive to Valencia city and only 18km to the nearest beach.
