Description of objectWINTER DEALLuigibello apartment is a modern apartment of 90 sqm, renovated in 2007. It accommodates 2-6 people. It contains 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located in a private outbuilding that you could rent in case of 5 / 6 persons. It also has a fully fitted kitchen,dining area, & living area with CD/DVD/TV system with more than 100 international English channels.Full WI-FI Internet is provided. The kitchen has a gas cooker with an electric convection oven. The apartment has a large south-facing terrace with a view of the sea. All rooms have air conditioning /heating. A private parking space for a car (NO SUV/ van) is available,with remote control. WE would like to point out to our guests that OUR villa has private parking,minimal steps to transport luggage ( ONLY 20 ) Luigibello apartment is situated on a pedestrian street in a prime, quiet area of Praiano, the heart of the Amalfi Coast. Praiano is a friendly, safe, small town. The apartment is 5 minutes walking distance to bus stops & supermarket, &10minutes walking distance to the main beach. THE VILLA: THE MAIN BEDROOM The first bedroom is located on the ground level , the ceiling is high and vaulted , easy access from the bedroom into the living room . The room has a matrimonial bed (a queen -size bed ) and there is also an high window with mosquito net .The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning / heating . The bedroom has an en.suite BATHROOM with a wash basin, a toilet and a Jacuzzi tub for two people (available with shower attachment). SECOND BEDROOM ,THE LOFT : Using the stairs you wiLl be able to go up into the loft , the ceiling is vaulted , the bedroom has a queen bed however twin beds can be provided, in front of the bed is a lovely small window with sea views. The loft is equipped with a big wardrobe and air conditioning / heating . Few steps down you wil find the SECOND BATHROOM with box shower . LIVING AREA has a high and vaulted ceiling , is very spacious with a comfortable sofa, a satellite TV (many English speaking international channels with more than 20 channels including movie channels, information etc ) DVD player ,WI-FI connection . The modern furnishings are welcoming and highly refined . In the dining area you will find a large table which can accommodate 6 people . From the living room you will be able to go to the terrace using French doors and there you can admire the beautiful views of the Amalfi coast. The dining / sitting room has air conditioning / heating . KITCHEN : has two windows overlooking the sea and the coastline, while you are cooking you can enjoy the sea view .It is equipped with a five -burner gas stove, a large refrigerator with freezer, an electric stove, microwave oven, filter coffee machine and toaster . Also is located the washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. THE ANNEX IN THE OUTBUILDING IN CASE OF 5/6 PEOPLE .Just outside the front door , next to the apartment you will find the lovely outbuilding/annex that you can rent in case if there are 6 people . There is a small bedroom with an en.suite bathroom with shower .A Window with a sea view. The room has all the comforts you need : an orthopedic mattress with wooden slats, a clothes wardrobe , a large console table for your luggage & a small wall cabinet for foodstuff. You will have a refrigerator/ freezer & a coffee machine , a table with two chairs & TV . The room is fully air conditioned / heated PARKING DETAILS: The parking is located at the beginning of a typically local pedestrian street & is in easy walking distance from the villa.The villa is 3/4 minutes away from the private parking & luggage can be transported easily without the need to carry by hand.There are ,however 20 steps whilst arriving to the property. PARKING AND LOCATION DETAILS : Private parking with remote control is a rarity in the area as street parking costs 3 euros hourly rate but 7 euros private parking with my villa.A saving when you stay with me.A majority of properties in the area do NOT have private parking with the property and transportation of the luggage/bags can mean carrying heavy loads up steep steps in your arms til arriving at destination. The villa is less than 10mins from beautiful main beach:La Praia.Opposite the parking is a ATM ,bus stop 5 mins down the road .The local buses run every 30 mins to Amalfi/Positano.A large supermarket 5 mins walk away with free home delivery.Internet(Wi Fi) During the summer season available a local boat of a private company to go to the Island of Capri it leaves from La Praiano the main beach 10 minutes walking distance from the villAA Special deals available in March period.Please ask for further details. PRICE: Price can be flexible but it depends on the season ,I would like you to read the reviews of past guests and for you to see the photos.In doing so ,you are able to see how beautiful and yet charming the villa is. Have a nice vacation Location of objectMANY FAMOUS GOOD RESTAURANTS ON THE MAIN BEACHTown: Italy, POSITANO, positanoPraiano and Vettica are ancient villages like all others on the Coast, and are situated halfway between Positano and Amalfi. The origins of these two villages are unfortunately unknown to us because of the few documents found so far. Praiano, Antica Plagianum, facing east gives you the opportunity to enjoy the sun and moonrise, whilst Vettica Maggiore faces west and from there you can admire wonderful sunsets behind the “Faraglioni” of Capri . Praiano has always been a fishing village and until few years ago fishing was the main profession. The old village was situated by the sea, but due to the saracen’s invasion, pestilences, and other natural calamities, they were obliged to move higher up in the mountains for safety reasons. During the “Angioino” and Preroyal periods many fortresses were built along the sea. Many of these are still in good condition and can be seen along our marvellous coast. They also built a lot of houses with Mediterranean style roofs, looking like eagles nests lying among the rocks and terraced gardens with dry built walls made of local stones. The villagers also took up farming and grew products typical of the region such as citrus fruits, potatoes, tomatoes, grapes, barley. The council crest of Praiano includes oranges in it’s design , signifying the importance of agriculture. In the “Angioino” time, Praiano was bestowed the title of Universitas, an honour only few villages received. With that title, Praiano was able to become more independent. Still its financial relationship with Amalfi lasted until the 17th century. Silk and linen manufacturing along with the art of creating fishing nets provided other means of making a living. Men, apart from being good fishermen, used to fish and sell local corals to the factories of Torre del Greco . In 1924 a very bad landslide destroyed the Praia beach area. It was disastrous for the village as it was the location where most activities took place and where most local goods were traded. The “Cala della Gavitella”, located at Vettica di Praiano, another beach similar to the Praia , was also used as a trading place and for the storage of goods in the so called “magazzeni”. Spread around both villages 15 churches and chapels were built, with most being for private use.
