The location is an experience in itself. The feeling of living in this part of town, I think the oldest of Vienna (end of 18th century), is really unique, there is a unique charm to these labyrinthine streets with traditional shops, restaurants and cafes. No cars. St-Stephens cathedral is 200m away from the flat (about 3 minutes by foot) as is the underground station for the rare times you'll actually have to take transportation (for instance the day you go to the Schönbrunn palace which is out of town). Most sites of interest are within easy walking distance to the flat (1 to 10 minutes).
