Town: Spain, Vera Playa, Vera PlayaTake a stroll out of Al Andalus through the landscaped surrounding gardens and the wildlife water reserve, from here you will find local bars, restaurants, shops and a fantastic supermarket. There is a regular bus service which takes you to the local fishing towns of Garrucha, Mojacar, Villaricose and the town of Vera.You are approximately a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the European Blue Flag Vera Playa Beach with a good selection of Beach Bars during mid to high season. Please note that there is a section of the beach to your left which is identified as for Naturists. Indeed there is a growing Naturist attraction to the area. The Vera Playa Hotel was the first official naturists hotel to be built in Spain. Another nearby attraction is The Parque Aquatico, the water park where you can take a thrilling ride one one of the many flumes or sit and relax by one of the swimming pools. There are three main airport options available to you. Almeria, Alicante & Murcia. All of the budget airlines fly into one or all of these airports, including BMI Baby, Easyjet, Thomsonfly, Jet2, Monarch, Thomas Cook and Ryanair. Almeria airport is the nearest and is 45 mins away, Murcia is 1hr 30 mins, Alicante is 2 hours by road. Alicante is further but it has a greater number of flights and choice of airlines. There is a no smoking policy within the apartment, but acceptable on the balcony. Booking, a 25% deposit is required to hold your booking, the balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. In the event of a late booking, if less than 8 weeks, full payment is required at the time of booking. There is a security deposit required of 100 euros in case of loss of keys etc. There is also a 50 euro payment for cleaning of the apartment following your departure.
