Description of objectThis is a historic wine Farm,cross by a small river, with 12 acres of biologic vineyard inserted in the demarcated region of the wines Dão.It is a unique opportunity to rent a house right in the heart of a traditional Portuguese village. Everyone in the village plows and grows the land. The people are wonderfully warm and welcoming. This is Central Portugal...the real Portugal...away from the bright lights and noise of the tourist areas...there is so much history in this region of Portugal, where you can experience and absorb the true nature and culture of the Portuguese nation. Within driving distance is the romantic city of Coimbra,45 minutes drive, once Portugal\\\\\\\'s capital, and home to one of the oldest universities in Europe. Viseu, the nearby city, 10 minutes, is well-established and prosperous, with modern health-care facilities, universities, and all commerce, and is an ideal base for the provision of facilities which answer local needs plus it has a enormous historic legacy. At 5 minutes drive from the farm, there is One of the most beautiful golf –course in the country with 27 holes. 5 Minutes is also the time that it takes to get to the horse riding center . In 45 minutes we can be in the nearby beach ( Aveiro). The airport of O\\\\\\\'Porto it\\\\\\\'s about 1 hour from the farm. The farm is at 25 km from Serra da Estrela, a popular ski-ing resort We meet all our guests, and are on hand to help with all your needs.
