Description of objectOur apartment is on the 20th floor of a 22 story building. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an unbelievableunobstructed view of the pacific ocean from every window. Rio Mar is a small gated community recently built. The apartment comes with high end appliances, central AC, internet, washer and dryer, plus a huge balcony. The master bedroom has a king size bed and private bathroom. The guest room has a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a single above. There is a pull out sofa in the living room and a Play available for a baby or small toddler. The apartment sleeps a total of 7 adults and one baby. The large kitchen is open and looks onto the living and dining areas and they all look out over the balcony to the ocean. 4 pools available, plus a restaurant and spa in the social area and a building staff available to help you with anything you need. The path to the beach is wheel chair accessible, which means you can also take our beach wagon which can carry all your beach gear. The beach is blocked by cliffs on both sides during high tide so there is zero beach traffic and you have an amazing semi private spot. This means that you don´t have teenagers racing by with their four wheelers threatening to run over your kids like you have in many Panama beaches along the pacific. There is also a river that passes through the beach that creates a shallow fresh water play area for younger kids. Basically the most beautiful spot on the Pacific in Panama, that´s why we bought here. Plus Rio Mar has three great surf breaks both for beginners (beach break) and experts (point break near by). There are also many other surf breaks within a 10 minute drive. For the golf lover there are several courses in the area including Coronado, Buenaventura, Bijao, etc. You are only 1 hour drive from Panama City and 10 minutes from Coronado where you can find three large grocery stores with anything you could need and many restaurants and fast food places. If you want to explore you can drive 40 minutes up to the sleepy mountain town of El Valle. Here you have a much cooler climate and some incredible hikes throughout the surrounding hills and a local market where you can find organic fruits and vegetables plus hand made souvenirs. There is also a zoo and natural hot springs and mud baths. A very relaxing day trip. Or you can head back to Panama City for the day to go shopping at the many modern malls.
