Representative holiday apartment on the ground floor of a natural stone cottage located on the Agriturismo 'La Fonte' below the small town Panicale, near Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. The spacious living / dining room is the cosy centre of the apartment. The kitchen line is separated by a bar from the living room. The furniture is traditional: a large dining table in solid wood and the open fireplace give the living a primitive rustic character. The large glass door in the arch opens to a natural terrace with views of the surrounding hills. The swimming pool and spacious sun terrace are located in close proximity to the house. On the upper floor of the same house there is another apartment for four persons with separate entrance. The two apartments can also be rented together.

The region of Umbria offers especially for nature and culture lovers a wide range of possibilities. Numerous recreational activities in close proximity to the holiday house: sailing, surfing, swimming in nearby Lake Trasimeno. Hiking, horseback riding and biking in the hilly surroundings, play golf at the Golf Club Lamborghini. Trips to major art and cultural centres in central Italy by car. Rome and Florence are reachable by train in less than two hours.

Like many places in central Italy, Panicale in the Middle Ages was built as a small town surrounded by a wall (Borgo). Inside the Borgo, the three central sites are created at different levels, emblematic of the social relations of power in the Middle Ages: The lowest place served as a marketplace and wells. One the next higher level the church of San Michele Arcangelo stands for the power of the church. Situated at the highest point of the village, at the present Piazza Masolino, the majestic Palazzo del Podestà overlooked the entire place as a centre of secular political power.
