VILLA GENARI IS LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF LEVENTOCHORI,A SMALL PLACE ON THE BIRTH PLACE OF OLYMPICS,IN THE PERFECTURE OF ILEIA.IT IS CONSISTED OF THREE DIFFERENT APARTMENTS SUROUNDED OF VINEYARDS.A PROVATE ROAD LEADS YOU TO THE SMALL BEACH IN FRONT OF OUR GARDEN.

Location of object

Leventochori is a village in the municipality of Pyrgos. As of 2001, it had a population of 271. Located by the Ionian Sea and the Zakynthos Strait and 6 km west of the Greek National Road(Athens - Corinth - Patras).The hills dominate the area with some farmlands. Today, it is a village with a few inhabitants,some Greek tavernas and a mini market. The population depends on olive and cattle productions. It has also a beautiful beach and new beach houses are built in the area.

Pyrgo's town is the capital of the Birth Place of Olympics,the perfecture Ileia ,with 30000 residents.Developed in the late 17th century, around a large tower built by the founder, Tsernotas, in Hill County. After liberation, flourished with the cultivation, processing and exploitation of local grapes, which went through the railway line at Pyrgos-Katakolon Port of Katakolon, to load cargo ships and exported to European markets. It is located 310 km SW of Athens and just 15 km from The Villa Genari.

In Katakolon (13.5 km W) port of the capital. Built on the ancient offices, has a nice beach and tourist infrastructure. Further north are the ruins of a medieval monastery and Pontikokastro Skafidias.
In Ancient Olympia, 17 km of Pyrgos, where Olympics game starts every four years.
In Kyllini, 25 km of Pyrgos with sandy beaches and the castle of Chlemoutsi.
In the temple of Apollon in Adritsaina.

Nedas waterfall: Feel the magic of the only Greek river of feminine gender.According to Greek Mythology Neda was a Nymph, a goddess of waters.Walk along the riverbanks,under the shade of huge plane-trees,oaks, and thick bushy vegetation.At some parts the gorge is very narrow and you will swim.
