Description of objectThis stone cottage, which has been partly renovated last year, is situated only 2 km from Montescudaio village. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards it is the perfect holiday destination for those you want to relax enjoying the beautiful landscape. The apartment, available for our guests, is suitable for up to 5 persons and has a big, new furnished live-in kitchen with walled cooking area, open fire place and dining table. One bedroom with two single beds and a small, simple bathroom with WC and shower. A second new bathroom with shower cabin, WC and washing machine. A stone staircase takes you to the first floor with a bedroom with double bed and single bed. Central heating and Sat-TV. From the kitchen you can reach a small, covered terrace with Garden furniture and the garden with a huge hazelnut-tree, which offers shadow also on hot summer days

Town: Italy, Montescudaio, MontescudaioMontescudaio, a small romantic inland town approximately 12 km from the sea, already had a special importance in the past because of its position. Today also you can enjoy an outstanding panorama from the church square and especially from the “La Guardiola” viewpoint.
On clear days you can see as far as the valley of the River Cecina and the blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea, with its islands Capraia, Gorgona and of course, Elba. Just off the church square you can wander round the narrow alleyways, looking through arches and doors for typical wine-cellars. In the centre of the town you can discover restaurants that tempt the palate with typically Tuscan delicacies as you taste one of the many D.O.C. Montescudaio wines.
The land around Montescudaio is rightly famous for the production of wine and the wine producers present their labels proudly at the annual Wine Festival which takes place on the first weekend in October. Numerous annual fairs and sporting events are held – cinema, music, theatre and exhibitions in the piazzas make summer in Montescudaio so lovely. Shops for all basic necessities, bank and public services and tennis court can be found in the town. The geographic position of Montescudaio and its splendid natural environment make it ideal for a holiday which alternates the seaside with the hills.
Montescudaio has a large fauna protected area where you can observe first hand the wildlife of the north Maremma. Vicinity to Volterra (30 km), San Gimignano (50 km), Siena (80 km), Pisa (60 km), Lucca (70 km), Florence (120 km), Populonia and the isola d’Elba (ca.60 km)
