Description of objectShamrock is less than a 5-minute drive from Mellieha Bay beach. It offers a sun terrace, air conditioning, and 2 balconies overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Mellieha Cathedral. Wi-Fi is free.
The apartment is set on the 2nd floor and features a 32” LCD TV with cable channels, a living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette where guests can prepare their own food, and 2 balconies. It includes modern furniture and a washing machine.
A bus to/from Valletta and Luqa Airport stops a few minutes’ walk from the property. Free parking in the street is available. Ghadira Bay is just 1.5 Km away, and buses are available to take you to ferries which are 2.7km away and they will take you to Gozo.
A supermarket, pharmacy and restaurant are all a 2-minute walk from the Shamrock. The owners can also arrange for taxi service on request.
Location of objectIn the areas where the apartment is situated, there are a number of souvenir shops, groceries shops and a supermarket, and a catholic church. In walking distance there are buses available all day to take you to the city, Valletta, or to take you to the ferries that will take you to our second island Gozo.

It is a popular tourist destination during the summer months. Mellieħa as a village developed under British colonization after the British encouraged people to settle in the area by giving leases to the population. For two centuries previously, the area was abandoned due to fear from attacks of corsairs and Saracens. Before that, only a few villagers lived in the area.
