Description of objectThis recently built apartment is situated on the promenade which runs along the Etang de Thau (a large salt-water lake) and only 200m from the unspoiled old port and 3kms away from Mediterranean beaches. The apartment is on the ground floor and there are no steps to climb. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area inside and another on the terrace. Large french windows leads to the terrace and garden with BBQ, table and chairs. This is a cosy place to catch some sun, enjoy your morning coffe and a meal with good local wine with a view of the etang.There is a bedroom with a double bed and storage and a spacious shower room with wasching machine and w.c. The living room has a bed settee and TV. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, and a lot of kitchen ustensiles. There is aircondition and Wifi internet. This apartment is ideal for a couple but suits also two moore people sleeping on the bed settee. Location of objectThe area around the big salt-water lake, Etang du Thau, is famous for its oyster and mussel beds. The town is surrounded by wineyards and the nature reserve of Bagnas with around 250 species of wild birds and schools of rose flamingos. In the South The Canal du Midi enters into the Etang du Thau and from the apartment you can see the lights from the Phare at the enterpoint. The Neuilly Prat destillery in the harbour of Marseillan offers an interesting visit with winetasting. Within just 10minutes drive you have many marvellous beaches. There are 12 kms of sand between Marseillan Plage and Sète and in Cap d´Agde you will find a rocky volcanic beach.Several Towns and villages have one or two market days a week, offering delicious fruits, olives, aromatic herbes, artisanal products and clothes. The fleemarkets in Marseillan Plage every Sunday is just 5 minutes drive away from the apartment. Many colourful village festivals take Place in summer but also on holidays through the year. The area offers possibilities of numerous kinds of activities as bicycling, fishing, sailing, boating, watersports, horseriding and wandering in the nature. Town: France, Marseillan ville, MarseillanMarseillan is probably the oldest town of France, settled by yhe Phoceans in the 6th CBC. You can enjoy the stessless and pittoresque atmosphere when you walk the narrow streets in the old town or stroll around the old unspoiled port. Numerous bars and restaurants are within a walking distance. Thuesday mornings there is a market where you can by local food and dried herbes,cloths and flowers. You can also find fleemarkets in towns nearby. There are a lot of opportunitiesfor activities as biking, sailing, boat trips on the lake or along the Canal du Midi, horseriding and water sports.
