Description of objectStella di Mare Residence lies on the wonderful seaside of Marsala on the West Coast of Sicily. At only 250 mt from the sandy beach of Marsala, Stella di Mare Residence is at only 4 km far from the city centre. Surrounded by trees, vivid geranium and sweet-smelling jasmine and orange flowers , The Residence offers to its guests an atmosphere rich in tranquility.Two main buildings, four apartments for each, two on the ground floor and two on the second one. Eight furnished and best equipped apartments , automatic gate, garden, private parking each one with private entrance.Just 200 meters from the sea, Stella di Mare Residence is located in a quiet residential area. A few meters away from the residence, from June to September, a stocked mini market for basic necessities such as fresh bread, fruit, vegetables, eggs etc. ... lidos and beach, bars, pizzerias and restaurants at only 250 meters. At 600 meters a supermarket with its own butchery. From June to September, just in front of the Residence, a bus stop at fixed times to connect the area to the shores of the historic center of Marsala. Marsala offers to its tourists a wide range of possible tourisms: relaxing holidays by the sea, nature tourism, historical-archaeological tourism and eno-gastronomic tourism.

Marsala is a town of 77,013 inhabitants in the Province of Trapani on the west coast of Sicily, it is the fifth most populous city in Sicily. in its 250 square miles of extension Marsala has a rich cultural heritage and landscape. To reach the city you need to take the highway A29 dir. Marsala is served from Trapani-Birgi Airport, with daily connections to Rome and Milan and other major cities, distant about 13 km from the city center. The city lies on Cape Boeo, overlooking the Egadi Islands and the islands of the Lagoon (the latter part of the municipality). Just the islands of the Lagoon is one of the most beautiful areas of the city, being a nature reserve and having a rich historical heritage. Mothia (one of these islands) was in fact a Phoenician settlement that gave rise to the present-day city. In fact, when the Syracusans were able to conquer Mothia after countless sieges the survivors founded, together with the new Roman masters, Lilybeo just where today stands Marsala. Marsala is developed around the two main roads of the original Phoenician and Roman, the cardo and the decumanus (now Via XI May, otherwise known as the \"formwork\"), which cross the center of the city, linking the four ancient entrances, two of which still exist: Porta Nuova, was rebuilt in 700, and Porta Garibaldi, the former holder of the sea, that the May 11, 1860 saw the passage of the thousand who came to Marsala. This quadrangle, surrounded by ancient city walls of which there are only two ramparts and a fortress, contains the old town, with the sixteenth-century Spanish Quarter, which today houses the offices of the City; Palazzo VII April, built between \'500 and \' 600 where previously there was the Loggia dei Pisani, now the seat of the City Council; the Cathedral, with its impressive baroque façade that was rebuilt in 1600 but has a Norman plant built 1176 and it is dedicated to St. Thomas of Canterbury; the monastery century St. Peter\'s, in the old Jewish quarter; the medieval Convent of the Carmine and many other churches, monasteries, noble palaces of great historical, artistic and architectural heritage, built mostly between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. A small building adjacent to the main church houses the Tapestry Museum, which is exposed to a sequence of eight beautiful Flemish tapestries dating around 1570, which tells the story of the Roman-Jewish war in \'66 AD In recent years, the historical center of Marsala was the subject of a work of restoration and enhancement that has returned to the city much of its ancient splendor and usability of important buildings, such as the monumental complex of San Pietro, now the Museum and a multi-cultural center, and as the Convento del Carmine which now houses the Municipal Art Gallery. The interventions were also allowed to reopen the Royal Municipal Theatre, built in 800 on the initiative of some noble Marsala. The theater, a small jewel with 300 seats in the stalls, boxes and a gallery was opened in 1994 and named after the composer Eliodoro Sollima. Of great attraction is the \"reserve Stagnone\" where there are salt marshes.
