Chueca is today in Madrid a trendy place filled with restaurants and bars. You dont need to take taxi nor underground to visit the tuorist atractions of the city. You have walking distance to Gran Vía (3 min), Puerta del Sol (6), the area of the museums (12 min) where you can visit the Prado museum, Reina Sofia, Thyssen among otheres.
