Location of objectLannilis is a typical Breton small village with a partly mediaeval centre. You will find all facilities here.Our holiday-flat is situated in a very quiet residential area, only 400m away from the village centre, where you can find many stores, bars and restaurants. Town: France, Pays d'iroise, côte des legendes, LannilisYou can reach us as follows:BY CAR From England you can take the ferry to Roscoff, which is only 50km away from Lannilis. If you pass through France, we recommend you to use the French highways (autoroute). They are toll roads, but very comfortable. From the east, you will take the express road N12 – which is toll free in Brittany- to Brest. Take the exit 'Gouesnou' – D788 – D13 – and follow the labelling 'Lannilis'. You can also arrive by Train or by aircraft. From the international airport Brest you can utilise our shuttle service. We can also organise a car rental for you. Situation: Lannilis is situated at the 'Coast of Legends' between the two 'Abers' (similar to the Norwegian fjords) Aber Benoit and Aber Wrac'h, 25km north of Brest. The degree of latitude is comparable to the situation of Munich/Augsburg. By the proximity of the gulf stream, the climate of Lannilis is very gentle. We don't know a real winter. Therefore, here you can spend pleasant holidays also the months 'with r'. A wonder of nature: Huge rocks of granite, megliths, all scattered in the landscape like random, wide sandy beaches and cliffy rocks. The Atlantic Ocean will impress you by its colours and harsh atmospheres. You will find small fisherman's villages with their coulourful harbours and boats. The hinterland is lovely and smooth. This will make the land of the Abers a rewarding holiday destination for nature lovers. Cultural diversion: Numerous museums of different specializations, mediaeval architectures, folklore and music events. Visit the numerous chapels and the extraordinary churches around. Admire the calvaries the land and the wayside crosses all around. Many Menhirs and Dolmen (ancient graves) testify of an age-old mystical civilisation. Sports and leisure: The Atlantic Ocean invites you to participate any kind of water sports. Kite-surfing, kayak, sailing, submarine diving, wind-surfing… Everyone to his taste. The safe hiking trail along the coast provides opportunities to extended walks. You can go for fishing, gather shells in the tideland, relax on the sandy beaches or swim in the Ocean.
