Extremely pictoresque former fishermen village with sandy and long shores (ideal for children as water is pretty shallow at the beginning of the shore).
Laigueglia has been awarded the blue flag for the cleanest water in Italy several times during the last decades and it is ideal if you like swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, wind surfing or sailing. There are several schools and places to hire windsurfs, sailboats and kayaks.
Several tours by boat can be arranged and one of the most popular is to the Gallinara island, located just in front of Laigueglia
