Description of objectIn total the apartment is 100 square metres, made up from a spacious lounge, a master bedroom, a twin bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a charming bathroom.The house's entrance is by an small iron gate which open a small internal court. The house has all modern facilities: a washing machine, a TV and digital decoder, fridge, a microwave oven, etc. The house is located in the centre of the village, it is a medieval building which has been recently restored. All the windows give onto a breathtaking view of the green Arno valley. Location of objectLOCAL TRANSPORT:Loro Ciuffenna is about 45 minutes by car from Florence, 1 hour from Siena and 30 minutes from Arezzo. By train Rome is two and a half hours to the south and Florence 30 minutes to the North. PARKING: The cars can not reach the house. The parking lot is just 50 m from the house. A typical Stradella paved stone leading to the entrance of the house and the iron gate. Town: Italy, Valdarno - Chianti, LORO CIUFFENNAAlong the main street of the town, which overlook the windows of the apartment, there are various shops.Loro Ciuffenna is situated in the heart of Tuscany, in the area where the famous Chianti putto wine is produced. The village's mood is definitely relaxed and the people very kind. Because Loro Ciuffenna is so near Tuscany's cities of Art it offers many cultural, artistic and musical possibilities. The concerts and operas performed in Florence's theatres are among the best in Italy and in May the famous Maggio Musicale Fiorentino brings the most talented young musicians to the city. Florence, Siena and Arezzo are also famous for their unique ancient customs, such as the football in traditional costume in Florence, the Palio horse race in Siena and the Saracen jousting tournament in Arezzo. Even if you don't decide to visit the historical cities nearby Loro Ciuffenna itself offers many enjoyable ways of spending your holiday. If you enjoy good food and wine there are many typical restaurants nearby, offering not only the most delicious local dishes, but also the possibility of enjoying an organised wine tasting. If you're looking for an outdoor holiday there are golf, tennis, riding and swimming facilities. If you want to emerge yourself completely in the medieval atmosphere of the area you can take an archery course (for 2-4 people) with an instructor from the local group of historical archers. All necessary facilities can be found nearby, and the Pratomagno Mountain (1592 m) offers excursions and outings into the shady chestnut woods which cover its slopes. The butcher's shop under the clock tower is famous for its 'Chianina' beef, a local variety famous the world over. Loro Ciuffenna also provides supermarkets, banks, a post office and a tourist information office. During the summer there are many free musical performances in the village, ranging from classic to choral to jazz. The nearby Romanic church of Gropina, dating from the IX century, is the venue for choral and instrumental recitals throughout the summer months.
