The apartment is located on the Asian part of Istanbul along the Bosphorus. It has an excellent location on the main street. Reaching the major historic sites of Istanbul is very easy from Kuzguncuk. In a 10 minute ferry ride you can reach Besiktas where Dolmabace Palace is. In a 15 minute ferry ride you can arrive at Eminonu from which Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque can be accessed easily. The ferry station is right across the street from the apartment. The ferry ride to the European side is probably the most pleasant way to commute in Istanbul.
All other means of transportation (bus, taxi etc) are also available and can be taken from the street across the apartment. Reaching Uskudar also takes 5 minutes by bus.

Kuzguncuk is a lovely historic neighborhood that is away from the hustle of the city. At the same time,reaching the major historic sites is very easy from Kuzguncuk. The apartment can be easily reached by taxi from Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen airports. Depending on the traffic the trip from the Ataturk airport would take 35-50 minutes.
