Description of objectA tastefully furnished apartment on the 1st floor of a modern apartment building on a peaceful street, a few minutes’ walk from the promenade/beach (Navarinou Street) which hosts many beach bars, cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, tavernas, patisseries, ice cream shops. The apartment has one bedroom which is furnished with a double bed and is also equipped with a pull-out sofa bed in the kitchen - lounge area if you require sleeping for 3. In the lounge there is an open-plan, fully-fitted kitchen. There is also a comfortable balcony overlooking the building’s wonderful garden area accessible from the bedroom where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink with a wonderful view in the distance of mount Kalathi. Lastly, there is also a modern bathroom. The apartment has a large flat-screen TV and WIFI. Air conditioning, linen, towels and bathroom amenities are also available.
The beach & shops/cafes/restaurants are within very easy walking distance. Have a swim and enjoy your coffee, drink, lunch, dinner in one of the wonderful seaside tavernas or participate in numerous activities such as sailing, water skiing, jet skiing and cycling. From the promenade you can take the bus which will take you into the Center of Kalamata (approx. 2.7km from the promenade) and of course the Historical Center where you will have access to the Museums, the Castle, the Kalograion silk weaving Monastery, the Byzantine Holy Apostles Church where the revolution against the Ottoman rule was declared and the Old Market shops. There you will also find several traditional bakeries, savory spice and herbs shops along with tavernas and other quaint restaurants with traditional cuisine. Kalamata has approximately a 4km coast line. The beaches are mostly with dry white pebbles and most café and restaurants have sun lounges free of charge as long as you order a beverage. Showers are available at most shops.
Guests are kindly requested to treat the property and the neighbors with respect and to report loss or damage of items to the apartment during their stay and to report any problems within the apartment to us.
