Description of object

The lovingly furnished, modern apartment with private access is part of our country house in the nature park of the Sierra Tejeda / Jatar. It is, due to its ideal central location and friendly climate, a refuge for individualists and families with up to 2 children who want to recover well and discover the true Andalusia without mass tourism.
The smart designer apartment (48 m²) with its private entrance keeps enough space for up to 4 people. Frequenters say: 'It is like a holiday with friends'. And families with children are especially welcome.

The apartment is including also a wonderful pool terrace (40sqm) with a large table, chairs, sun loungers, barbecue, night lighting and music connection at your disposal, for you only.

You will love the large pool (Romanic-style) with non-float part for children and the big Mediterranean garden (2800 m² fenced). From the apartment-window you have magnificent view up on the pool and terrace. English TV / radio programs by satellite. WIFI broadband Internet 6MB included, so you can surf on the internet outside by the pool.

Location of object

Jatar is an typical Andalusian village with about 700 inhabitants at the foot of the Sierra Tejeda and lies 985 m above sea level. The straight line distance is about 20km from the Costa del Sol (Competa / Frigiliana). The climate is excellent, even in hot summers. Because of the low humidity, you can feel more comfortable, air-condition is not necessary.
The church from the 16th century is the center of this genuine Andalusian village.
The big fiesta of Jatar in August gives visitors an unforgettable insight into local culture of villagers of Jatar or better said “Jatareños”, as they are called here.
We have a pup and a restaurant in the village with good food and ... of course free tapas with every drink. One can reach it in between only 5 minutes on foot from the apartment.
In summer nights the 2 restaurants built up their tables on the road and one can sit and enjoy food and drinks up to 1:00 am.
Also here in our village: pharmacy, supermarket, bakery, tobacco shop, bus to Granada every day.(one time only)

“El Chaparral” is situated 250 meters outside the village and has unique 360 ° panoramic views of the Sierra Tejeda, the village of Jatar and distant view at the Sierra Nevada.
Our beautiful house here in JATAR is strategically very well located for day trips to the nearby Costa del Sol or the enchanting Granada. It's virtually a short hop, same distance to the Costa del Sol or to Granada. You can get there in between approximately one hour by car.
For example:

In 10 minutes
Alhama de Granada, hot springs, historical sites, scenic gorges 'Los Tajos'. Also
some awesome good restaurants. We´ll tell you where it is best.

In 15 minutes from here:
The reservoir 'Pantano de los Bermejales', swimming, fishing, horseback riding
In approximately less than 1 hour you´ll be in the world famous Alhambra in Granada (reservation by internet, reserving the tickets one week before visiting is recommended )
or spending a day on the beach in Torre del Mar or Nerja
