Description of objectApartment is located on the second floor of a family house and has a separate private entrance. It measures 90m2 (969 square feet). It's very comfortable and equipped with everything that you might need, while you stay on your vacation in Dubrovnik. It's air conditioned and rated 3 stars (***). Check in time is after 12:00 PM (noon) while check out time is until 10:00 AM.Owner with family lives down bellow. There is a parking space in front of the entrance secured for guests. Apartment has two bedrooms. A master bedroom with two beds - one single and one double bed, that can be unjoin and made into two single beds, if guests would so desire. There is also a second bedroom, with two single beds. Both bedrooms provide generous storage space. A laptop table is located in master bedroom. WI-FI broadband internet with flat rate can be accessed anywhere in the apartment - owner will provide guests with password for unlimited use. Living room is large, spacious and sunny. Large windows are tinted and reflective. There is a 10m2 (108 square feet) balcony on the western side of the room from where Gruz harbor and Lapad peninsula can be seen. There are two sofas in a room of which one can be turned in to a comfortable sofabed if needed. TV and many books in English language are there for your entertainment. Large kitchen with a refrigerator and a freezer also includes a dining area. Kitchen utensils, cookware, dinnerware and glassware are all provided. Bathroom includes a toilet, a bidet, a shower cabin and a laundry washing machine. Clean towels and toilet paper is provided. Kastelani apartment is positioned in a very convenient location - 90 meters above Dubrovnik main harbor and intercity bus station Gruz - a final destination for buses from Dubrovnik airport, which is located 20km (12 miles) away. As mentioned a free parking for one vehicle is provided. While you stay in Dubrovnik, we would advice you to use public transfer since the city gets really crowded during the summer season. A city bus stop is 20m away and a ride to the old town will take you 5-10 minutes. It's a bargain compered to the time and money you'll have to spend for parking your car near the old town. A few words about the old town that you know as Dubrovnik. It's really majestic and beautiful so you'll provably spent a lot of time there, but you'll do that during evenings and night time, when you wish to enjoy a nice dinner or a glass of Dingac (Croatinan wine), or maybe shop for souvenirs. We are located about 1km from there and we have fresh food & fish market 150m away. A huge supermarket 100m away. Clinic, pharmacy, banks, post office, various agencies offering daily trips, car & scooter rentals, island cruises ect all within 200m. The best beaches are not on the mainland where its all crowded and mostly concrete. On the contrary you will find paradise beaches on Elafiti islands (Kolocep, Lopud, Sipan). Boats that will take you there are docked 90m away in Gruz harbor. A journey there takes 30 – 60 minutes depending which island you wish to visit. Dubrovnik is certainly an Adriatic jewel and among Wolds top 10 destinations. Local bus station with excellent service is 30m away. Distance from the sea ferry port is some 90meters. It is used for ferry boats coming from other Croatian ports and islands, and Italy as well. Harbor is visited by huge mega cruising ships, calling Dubrovnik regularly in season. Distance to intercity bus station is some 200 meters, it is used also as station for Dubrovnik airport bus,coming with passengers from airport 22km away. Within 200 meters, radius, many useful facilities such as huge shopping mall, green market and fresh fish market, numerous shops, banks, post office,many restaurants and cafeteria, rent a car and scooter agencies,one day excursion agencies for local islands and Dubrovnik countryside, Medjugorje, Montenegro, Mostar etc. pharmacy, ambulance.
