Description of objectThe apartments, totally six, are furnished in a romantic country style were obtained by a completely restored ancient dependence of the castle and are full optional.
They are composed by double room, kitchen, bathroom, living room (two of the apartments are also equipped with a sofa-bed for 1/2 persons) and a corridor, and offers all comforts (in the kitchen: tablecloths hob, pots, dishes and cutlery; bathroom with shower, towels, courtesy; and then TV-sat, wi-fi connection, unguarded parking).
The country house is completely independent, with a big garden, and offers a breathtaking view on the properties of Castello di Spessa and on the vineyards surrounding the hill.
Location of objectCollio lies in the very top right-hand corner of Italy, in the region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, one hundred kilometers northeast of Venice, between the Giulian Alps and the Adriatic sea. This crescent-shaped collar of land is bounded to the west and south by two rivers, the Judrio and Isonzo, and to the east by the country of Slovenia. You can imagine the cultural cross-pollination that is its heritage.
Town: Italy, Collio Goriziano, Capriva del FriuliGorizia has the typical elevated aspect of a border town, with its medieval castle and a charming village overlooking beautiful rolling hills.
The parks, such as the Parco Piuma on the River Isonzo and the Palazzo Coronini Cronberg Park (with trees from all over the world) are delightful. There are a variety of museums, including the unique Fashion and Applied Arts Museum and the Great War Museum. The cuisine offers delicious middle-European cakes such as Gubana, strudel, presnitz and putizza, plum-filled potato gnocchi, and a local speciality, the red radicchio “Rosa di Gorizia.”
