It is renowned for its old-world charm and famous mineral baths. The apartment is just a few minutes' walk from the Metro station at Ferencziek Ter and the trams are close by. It is newly-renovated to a high standard. The house has been recently restored. The apartment is on the first floor of the building and is very quiet. The accommodation consists of a bedroom, a livingroom kitchen/diningroom, a bathroom with a WC. Location of objectThe centre of the centre in Budapest. The location is fantastic: main street (this does not affect your sleep though) so convenient for everything from shopping (outside!) , to wandering down to the Danube (50 metres). The metro line is 1 min walk away, the Tram n.2, the most famous, down on the building, and is very very efficient so is easy to get anywhere else. You can wander over to the castle district in 15 mins and it is a beautiful walk, especially all lit up at night! That's the main street of Budapest, Pedestrian zone, and the best place for an holiday in this city! There are many attractions to see here(walking distance!): Váci Street (Váci utca) The heart of Budapest is Váci Street between Vörösmarty Square and Elizabeth Bridge. The street gained its status in the mid-19 th century when the original small buildings and shops were replaced by neo-Classical and Eclectic apartments, department-store, international trade-centre and hotel located here, making Váci Street another Symbol of Budapest. Vörösmarty Square This square has been one of the central spots in downtown Budapest since the early 19 th century. Originally called Promenade Square, it was renamed Theatre Square after the German Theatre which was situated there, and later it became Gizella Square. Since 1908 the square has been called Vörösmarty Square, after the great Hungarian poet of the 19 th century. An Eclectic-style palace houses the famous Confectionery 'Gerbaud'. Town: Hungary, Budapest, BudapestBuda and Pest: two cities, split by the river Danube.Bustling Pest has historical treasures from its Habsburg and Jewish past, while verdant, hilly Buda was the home of the royals and the castle is well worth a visit. Today a hiker’s heaven, it has stunning views over Pest and the Danube. Although Hungary joined the European Union in 2004, its capital retains an eastern mystique, with twisty old streets lined with beautiful architecture and an attractive coffee shop culture.
