Description of object5 km from Tagliacozzo , small wooden house , new , well-made , near to our house , where we serve breakfast , included in the price. Easy to get to ( 5 km from the motorway exit Magliano de \\\' Marsi ) but isolated on a hill, allowing you to live a quiet holiday , with nice walks in the surroundings . but also to visit the beautiful mountains of Abruzzo , its wild parks , its medieval towns , history , nature and culture .But you can also spend a day going to Rome , which is just an hour from here. or a day at sea , the Adriatic is an hour , and we can recommend beautiful beaches. The price includes the breakfast : it is an organic breakfast , all homemade , from bread to cakes, jams , yogurt , cheese and milk we take from the village , honey is a special honey , eggs from our chickens . .. our breakfast is really special ! for dinner we recommend some trattorias with homemade Abruzzo cuisine, cheap price . We can also advise nice walks , cultural visits , festivals and initiatives of the season, activities to do with children. Location of objectIt\'s in the countryside, on a hill, at 770 m on the sea level. There\'s a dust road to arrive, 700 meters, that preserves tranquility and peaceness. But it\'s not far from everything.Town: Italy, Abruzzo mountain Park, TagliacozzoTagliacozzo (6.500 inhabitants) rises up to 730 mt on the sea level in a splendid environment near the border between Abruzzo and Lazio, near the entrance of the lowland famous for the battle in 1268 in which Charles I of Angiò defeated the army of Corradino of Svevia.The ancient part of the town offers a harmonious urban and architectural landscape around the ancient and suggestive Piazza dell’Obelisco which is the symbol of Tagliacozzo. The famous Palazzo Ducale ( XIV – XV centuries), rich of works of art and historical memories, is the main point among the monuments of the historical center. The church of S. Francesco, XIV century, with a façade of the XV c., protects the body of Beato Tommas da Celano, who was the first biographer of St. Francis and the author of Dies Irae. Other monuments: the Renaissance church and convent of the Saints Cosma and Damiano, the Sanctuary of the East, with the worshipped bizantine image of Madonna, a rich library and the precious Oriental Museum. In the outskirts, nature offers several excursions: the pine area and the slopes of the Auronzo Mountain, the cave of Beatrice Cenci and the Cola cave with its stalactites and stalagmites, the slopes and the cave of Ovito in the valley of Luppa, the sources of the river Imele, the valley of Nerfa with the sources of the Liri.
