Description of objectThe detached cottage is comprised of two thatched rondavels in traditional African style, and stands together with the main house, pool house, outdoor shower, pool and a separate guestroom with bathroom en-suite on a 2,000 square meter site with stunning sea view over the Indian Ocean.This furnished apartment is very exclusive, artistically and comfortably modern. It consists of a bedroom with queensize-double bed and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. In the second house is the living room with open kitchen and breakfast bar with four seats. The living area is furnished with a sleeper couch that can also be transformed with a few simple steps to a two-seater ottoman or relax in the position to watch TV. Two chairs, a table and some cabinets are a part of body such as a television, various electrical appliances, a ceramic hob, microwave and a refrigerator and a charcoal grill, dishes, linens and towels. Linen and towels are regularly washed and dried in the main house. The apartment has a separate gate to the street and a private parking area inside the property. Even in front of the apartment to the sea with a private terrace are a table and chairs. At the main house lies the community swimming pool with outside shower and terrace for relaxing and watching the fishing boats at sea or on the beach for surfers. But even in winter, which is a pleasant summer for Europeans, the terrace invites you to observing the whales, fish eagles and sea birds, depending on your taste but also just to sit together and play games on warm evenings, or simply enjoying the feeling, to be in the subtropical part of Africa. Location of objectThe Umculo Ocean View Lodge is located approximately 35 meters above sea level and allows a wide view over the Indian Ocean. The terrace by the pool offers the best opportunity. The beach and lagoon are in direct view. The sea view allows even swimming in the pool, while the plot external contributions is not visible. The street from the Umculo Lodge leads directly to the St. Mike's beach.The other main beaches as there are Shelly Beach, Uvongo, Manaba, Margate, Ramsgate, Southbroom, Marina Beach, some awarded with the BLUE FLAG are reachable in a few minutes. Golfers will find their favorite spot, depending on the request directly on the ocean or in the peri-urban, park-like grounds or surrounded by farms in the inland. All golf courses are also easy accessible within a few minutes by car. Even with game parks in incomparable nature can be found as near as breathtaking landscapes with adventure paths and hiking trails. Town: South Africa, Margate / Hibiscus Coast, St. Michael's on SeaSaint Michael's on Sea or St. Mike's, as they say lovingly, is a romantic place with lots of nature and nice restaurants right on the Indian Ocean. It is making the quieter part of the lively Shelly Beach, the large modern shopping malls, supermarkets, boutiques, cinemas, restaurants and cafes, 'Shelly' one of the centers of the Hibiscus Coast.The St. Mike's fine sandy beach attracts sun-seeking vacationers all year round with water temperatures usually over 20°. It has a South African common, something crazy Swimming pool located in the sea and a so-called children's pool not far from the beach restaurant. The beach is also suitable especially for children because of the adjacent warm lagoon. Here are in the season pedalboats and canoes, water slides and other water attractions for rent. A part of the almost endless beach is one of the top surfing locations in South Africa and is one of the venues for the South African surf championship. From the Fish Harbour boat charters on the beach to the deep-sea fishing, whale and dolphin watching, shark diving in the Protea Banks are available. The beaches stretch for miles of hiking trails long. There are some opportunities for extreme sports but also offer fishing, mountain climbing, biking, golfing, horseback riding, swimming, surfing, diving, tennis, hiking, surfing, mountain biking and fitness training.
