The house is available as a self-catering facility. Riverside8On12 provides some basic essentials such as sugar, milk, coffee and tea for guests to use on arrival [we would like the guests to replenish when they depart]. We also provide useful information on, and contacts for, grocery shopping both locally and in Kandy. Should you require a local cook for short periods, we may be able to make the necessary arrangements with sufficient notice. It is approximately 5km from Kandy. The drive from Colombo takes approximately 3 hours. Kandy town is the transport hub for the Central Province and the Cultural Triangle. Frequent bus services and not-so-frequent train services connect Kandy to the rest of Sri Lanka. If you are using public transport, the easiest way to get to Riverside8On12 is to take a Taxi from Kandy. This will cost approximately $6.00 and take 10 minutes.
