Description of objectIdeal for mountain lovers.We are 3kms away from the town of Candeledait is Avila, next to Extremadura.PR.AV.46 is the mountain route next to the house. It is called the Garganta of Santa Maria. Recommended to bring a 4x4 or a car not too low, half of these 3kms are thru a pave road, and the other half is a mountain road. You can also come by bus and get up by local taxi or a small arrangement with locals. I rent a 2 bed room with an incredible view. So it can be for one or 2 people. It is a stone house with wood and adobe, done in a rustical old way like thge stone houses around here but new. Very beautiful indeed. We are in the middle of a national park so there are no neigbours, stores, cars etc. There is absolutely no other place like that in the area, i mean right in the midst of the mountain and with all the utilities. Bathroom and kitchen are shared .I will tell about me: i am a 47 year old woman half spanish half colombian, a professional musician, love the mountain, reading, meditating. I am a respectful person, pretty independent. We have solar energy and natural water from a well. I rented the house 3 years ago for that summer, and i just couldnt leave the place. Depending on the time of the year i might be travelling or out of the house so you can have the whole house. But regularly it is my home. thanks, hope te get to meet you! The view and surroundings are breathtaking and there is no other house around with all these conditions, we don´t have any neighbors only a goat keeper shows with his cattle around the house once in a while, he can bring fresh goat milk if we ask him to do so, you can travel thru the mountains with him (he is 67 but will beat you up no problem!!)Town: Spain, Valle del Tietar, CandeledaCandeleda (Spanish pronunciation: [kandeˈleða]) is a town and municipality located in the province of Ávila, in the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. When you come for the first time i have to be there to show you around, and explain a few things right there. It depends on the lenght of your visit, the time of the year, and unpredictable cirumstances that i would or would not share the space with you. :) |
