Location of object
Casa Carabella can be located about 15kms from the E15 motorway near the town of Albox. Look for the BP Service Station which is located on the main road into the town by the traffic lights. Turn first left after the lights and follow the road for about 4kms. Casa Carabella can be found on the left hand side, just before the old railway bridge which leads into Almanzora village.
A new motorway is currently being constructed to link the E15 with the large inland town of Baza. It will run within 1km of Casa Carabella. The new road from Cantoria to the E15 will open next year which will definately improve travel by car.

The lovely old village of Almanzora is situated within a short walk from Casa Carabella. It boasts two banks (one with a cash machine outside) 5 bars, some serving tapas and meals, pharmacy and doctor, school, well stocked small supermarket and post office. There is a lovely old Palace that is unfortunately in a state of decay, but there are plans to restore the building in the near future. In the center of the village is a large seating area which is currently being updated in time for the Almanzora fiesta on the 15th August. The weekly small market is held there on a Friday morning. A new sports centre has recently been opened including an outside swimming pool which may be used for the low price of 1e per day! There are plans to construct a country walkway leading towards the interesting old market town of Cantoria several kilometres away.
