| Petrcane is a small village whose existance dates back for 900 years, to the 12th century, when it was founded by two brothers, Petar (Peter), and Cane. Throughout the history the inhabitants were surviving mosty by fishing and growing grapevines and olives. Thirty years ago, tourism started to grow rapidly, and it reached its peak when the war hit our country in 1991, when there followed a short pause. But our Villa returned the tourists in Petrcane as soon as the war quieted a bit, and today Petrcane is a famous tourist destination for numerous foreign and Croatian guests. |
