| Cumbuco is a small fishing village with approx. 1000 citizens that attracts people from metropolises, who have weekend houses there or just go out for dinner and enjoy the freedom at the beach during a day trip, because of the town�s tropical flair and friendly atmosphere. Cumbuco is new land to tourism, one can find a lot of nativeness by the habitants� openness to foreigners! Despite language problems, Portuguese is spoken, we could always make friends and inspire our variety of ideas anew by pantomiming. Due to the constant wind also in winter surfer and kite surfer from all over the world are gravitated. All over the year the temperature are between 28° until 31°, the water has a temperature between 25° and 28°. Thus, more and more people spend their holiday also in winter in Europe. Our taxi driver also offers excursions for a good price into the near environment. |

Cumbuco is a small fishing village about 25 kms from the international airport of Fortaleza. This scenic little town has started to attract more and more tourists, both domestic and international. The reason for this is simple; Cumbuco has the most beautiful, and quiet, beach near Fortaleza on one side of town and the famous sand dunes on the other side. The center is right next to the beach, which is lined with beautiful tropical palm trees and where one can find a dozen or so beach restaurants (barracas). After sunset a few of these remain open and other restaurants, and bars, also open their doors to Brazilians and foreigners alike. One can see the locals gather on and around the main square (prazinha) and what strikes one is the great number of children playing until well into the night, which attributes to the relaxed atmosphere in this idyllic village. | Cumbuco is located in the state of Ceara in northeastern Brazil. It is a small, quiet, fishing village located 25 km north of Fortaleza, a 45-minute drive from International Airport. The village of Cumbuco born into an oasis of palm trees right on the beach and framed by stunning white sand dunes and lagoons, the sun shines all year with a pleasant average temperature of around 28 ° C always ventilated thanks to the thrust of trade winds that blow attracted by equator. The whole coast is characterized by miles of secluded and stunning beaches to drive waterfront with the dune buggy, ideal for practicing kitesurf and windsurf, but also are surf spots accessible by buggy.
