Finestrat is a beautiful mountain village that clings tenuously to the side of the mountain amidst stunning scenery. The village offers a good selection of cafe/bars and a few restaurants. It has a large ex-pat community, although it still maintains its unique Spanish atmosphere. The views to the coast from the old church at the top of the village are breathtaking. Puig Campana is the name of the mountain behind Finestrat village and offers excellent walks, or climb to the top for more experienced climbers.Finestrat bay is 8km from the village and offers and excellent European Union Blue Flag Award beach. Its cosy cove offers lively night time entertainment with its many cafeterias, pubs and restaurants on the seashore.
