Gorgeously located cottage, directly on the lake of Nissangen, 15 km from the centre of Malung. Distance from Stockholm 350 km, Göteborg 420 km, Malmö 710 km.

Enter the lake for swimming directly from the plot; the nearby sand beach is perfect for small children.

Spacious sun deck facing south and west, offering a 180 degree view of the lake.

The cottage is charmingly primitive - there is no electricity. Lighting comes from candles and oil lamps. Drinking water is collected from a well on the lot.

The living-room has a fireplace; the dining table is placed by a large set of windows facing the lake. In the back of the room is one queen size bed.

The bedroom has two bunk beds of the old Dalecarlian type, in total four beds. Additional twin beds is available in a small bedroom in the boathouse building.

The kitchen, lacking running water, is equipped with wood stove, LPG stove & oven and LPG fridge.

A log house directly on the beach contains a wood fired sauna, a simple (camping shower) and a relax room with breathtaking views over the lake, along with a sundeck in two levels and a connecting pier into the lake.

The boathouse contains a woodshed, row-boat and two bicycles. Here are also safety wests in adult and children sizes. Separate privy with lake view.

Good fishing opportunities: Perch and Pike.

Dalarna is one of Scandinavias foremost tourist districts, offering numerous summer activities. Fishing, hiking, horse riding in fantastic terrain. The picking of berries and mushrooms or just a walk and inhalation of clean fresh air is enough. Mountain climbing and flying, you name it, here are the possibilities for all ages and tastes.

Canoeing on untouched streams or a boat trip on lakes surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Take a deep breath and enjoy life in silent waters or wild streams. Do you like walking? With or without sticks? Try a summer hiking adventure with friends in the Vasaloppet track. A historical trip from Sälen to Mora.

The cottage is gorgeously located with a large beachfront

Spacious sun deck (south/west), with a magnificent view over the lake.

The living room offers a breath-taking view over the lake.

When twilight sets in, the old oil lamp creates a nice and cosy athmosphere.

The fireplace to gather around during evenings.

In the back of the room is a double bed (140 cm; 2 beds) of old Dalecarlian style.
