While sea-bathing is not fabulous owing to shallow water the inviting Mont Choisy bay is only a few minutes walk away with its turquoise lagoon and gentle waves lapping the shore. The Club Med allows non-resident tourists to take advantage of its restaurants, bar and evening shows against modest fees, and if you prefer the bustle of Grand Bay and its numerous restaurants, duty-free shops and its festive atmosphere it is less than a kilometre away

At the end of this popular beach is Pte aux Cannonniers home to the Club Med as well as a couple of well known hotels. Mont Choisy villas and bungalows are close enough to the tourists hub of Grand Bay to be accessible on foot, by car or public transport but far enough to enjoy peace of mind and privacy sought by most visitors.
