Description of objectGargnano, Lake Garda: Charming townhouse for 6 pers, fireplace, living room, 3 living / bedroomsFURNISHED APARTMENT On the ground floor is the kitchen with dining table & chairs for 6 persons plus outdoor seating for 4 persons (folding chairs, folding table). On the first floor is the salon with fireplace, balcony, 5 armchairs, bench and sofa lounge. On the further three floors there are 3 bedrooms for 2 persons each. Two of the bedrooms have shower and WC, the studio has a (third) guest toilet. Total: 6 beds plus 2 children's mattresses and 1 sofa-lounge in the fireplace room. Free WLAN in the whole house. Nice places for breakfast, newspapers or for watching the public Life - on the balcony or at the lake promenade. The townhouse is only rented to NON-SMOKERS Location of objectItaly => Lake Garda => GargnanoGargnano is the most beautiful city on Lake Garda (gentle tourism), located on the paradisiacal west bank. It has retained its charm of a fishing village with palaesteas, villas, churches and lemon groves, built by wealthy inhabitants. Bars, trattorias and restaurants characterize the historic old town around the small harbor. A moving past can be seen on the facades of the old palaces around the harbor basin where cannon balls are stuck. In 1866 Austrian warships attacked the town during the Risorgimento revolts, which ultimately led to the national unification of Italy. Goethe loved this place. D.H. In 1918, Lawrence sought inspiration for his novel 'Lady Chatterly's Lovers', ended his novel 'Sons and Lovers' and worked on a poem, including 'Sunday Afternoon in Italy'. Monuments of the so-called Republic of Salo (1943-45), the government and the family Benito Mussolini stayed in two of the Feltrinelli villas in Gargnano. The Palazzo Feltrinelli served as a state chancery, the Villa Feltrinelli in a park by the lake as residence of the family. Feltrinelli, the father of the left-wing publisher Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, had erected it as a summer residence in Neo-Gothic style in the 19th century. Today the Villa Feltrinelli is a 5 star hotel in a 3,2 hectare park with helicopter land - and unfortunately cannot be visited. During the Venice Film Festival, one can meet famous Hollywood actors or Tenoere in Gargnano, which are staying at Villa Feltrinelli. Town: Italy, Gardasee, GargnanoThe charming Italian town house with a view of the mountains and the lake is protected as listed building. It is located in the center of GARGNANO, a few steps from the lake promenade and the small harbor. 100 sqm on 5 floors offer relaxing holidays for the family with children or friends. The house was reconstructed in 2002 and renovated in 2016. Parts of the house are from the 17th century. Despite the central location it is rather idyllic. You live in an alley in the middle of the small town, and also hear the sounds of everyday life ... the garbage disposal, the chattering and singing of the neighbors, the church clock, the birds.
