above the sea on the foothills of the
Versilian mountains. It looks out over
olive groves and woods to the sea.

is spacious and airy. Its character has been preserved .There are white walls and ceilings,massive chestnut beams and terracotta tiling.The furnishings are simple and comfortable. There are superb
views over the valley towards the sea.
Besides kitchen and living room there
are three bedrooms and a loggia. The
house has three terraces two of which look towards the sea.

Carrara and its marble.Make an expeditionto the Cinque Terra, five villages on the Ligurian coast once accessible only by sea. In August Puccini operas are performed out of doors at Torre del Lago where the composer once lived.
