Description of objectOur tastefully new furnished and in 2012 fully renovated apartment is located in a quiet street in the Mitte district (Wedding), on the fourth floor of a historic building of 1905 and can accommodate up to three people.The apartment has a large bedroom with high ceilings and an original wooden floor typical for the Berliner Altbau houses. The apartment faces on a quite court so you do not hear any noises from the street. In the living room you’ll find a Flatscreen TV and lots of Berlin guides in different languages. The available sleeping options are: a queen size bed and a very practical and comfortable king size sofa bed with a real mattress that can be either opened in order to accommodate only on one side to accommodate one guest. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer is available as well. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped. You’ll find everything you need from a filter coffe machine to an Italian espresso moca, a kettle a grill/toaster, a fridge a washing machine, pans and pots. Location of objectThe apartment is centrally located within walking distance (250 meters) to the metro station and very good access to public transport buses, suburban rail and a main train station are all nearby. The famous University Hospital 'Charité'. In addition, the University of Applied Sciences 'Beuth' is easily reached on foot.Tegel Airport is easily accessible, about 23 minutes travel by subway and bus. The A100 motorway is placed just outside the neighborhood. Wedding is still one of those neighborhoods where you can breathe a genuine Berlin atmosphere. In recent years artists from around the world are revitalizing this part of town, facilitating the opening of new bars, restaurants and shops of all kinds, such as the restaurant 'Fünf & Sechzig' or the bar 'Auszeit' with a Mediterranean touch. All kind of restaurants can be found in the area from Thai delis, Vietnamese, Italian, Turkish, or a classic German 'Biergarten'. Parking is free, just pay attention to the safety distances from intersections and bus stops or you can use one of the parking spaces in Brüsseler Straße 53 (1.3 Km) where you can find the parking area 'Cittipoint' and in Müllerstraße 25 (1 km.) the parking space “Vinci Park”. Even a taxi station is very close and is located opposite the entrance of the 'Charité' hospital. Town: Germany, Berlin, BerlinLocal Information: The apartment is located in a quiet and lively district of Berlin Wedding (Mitte) and is an excellent starting point to visit all the sights of Berlin.The 'Zoologischer Garten' and the famous street 'Kurfürstendamm', the heart of shopping in Berlin can be reached in a few minutes by the subway line U9, which is 250 meters away. Other destinations, such as Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt and Friedrichstrasse/Unter den Linden, can always be reached by subway U9 (250 meters from the house), with only one change of line to the U6 or U8 (depending on the destination). With a walk of about 30 minutes, following the canal Nordufer, you can easily walk to the Art Museum 'Hamburger Bahnhof' or the building of the 'Reichstag' (seat of the German parliament).
