Description of objectLe Repos des Hiboux is a little haven of 2 and 3 bedroom quality gites with a 12x6m heated swimming pool and automatic safety cover. Each gite is fully equipped with satellite TV and it’s own enclosed garden. There are communal eating and play areas for all to enjoy, relax and socialise. Just 5 minutes away is our nearest village with all local amenities including, co-op, boulangerie, doctors, dentist, pharmacy, bar/restaurant and church.
Great access to major tourist attractions incl. Cognac, Saintes, La Rochelle etc.
Ideal for holiday vacations or perfect for long term winter lets, both our gites are well insulated, with wood burning stoves and additional storage heaters. Our holiday homes offer a comfortable base if you wish to explore the Poitou-Charentes and Aquitaine Regions. Walking and cycling are obvious pastimes with bicycles available for guest use. For those seeking more action there are local equestrian centres offering horse riding for all ages and abilities. With the added advantage of having 3 low cost airports nearby, we are just hours away!

Additional InformationHaving two young children ourselves we have, where possible tried to ensure the whole area is child friendly and safe. Our heated swimming pool is not only fenced but also has an automatic key operated cover for added security. There is a comprehensive video and DVD library as well as satellite TV for young children and garden toys available for your use. Cots, highchairs, stairgates and a variety of baby equipment are available, please ask when booking.
