La Locanda del Borgo was built in the 15th century. It was modified and enlarged in the following centuries developing into today\\\\\\\'s modern aristocratic country-house.
Restoration and refurbishment have redefined the interior spaces by respecting the original architecture and renovating with original materials. Material such as greystone and brickwork floors, robust oak and chestnut wood beams and antique fixtures have been used to create today’s country house, maintaining the original charm as it was handed down over centuries.
