The kitchen displays its original roof of red bricks and iron railings. On the first floor a large bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The house, furnished with antiques and Provencal fittings is particularly charming and provides home comfy with a hint of today\\\'s … such as Satellite TV, dishwasher and free WIFI internet access.
Location of objectCa\\\' Momplin is a typical XVIII° Century Piedmont\\\'s farmhouse, part of a small hamlet called Mompellini. It sits on a hilltop, 2 km from the village of Canale d\\\'Alba and all its gourmet shops, ice cream parlors and pastries shops, 8 km from Alba, the truffle capital of the world, 15 Km from Bra, the town where the Slow Food movement was born and host of \\\'Cheese, and 45 km for Torino, host of the 2006 Winter Olympics and of the \\\'Salone del Gusto\\\'.
Ca\\\' Momplin is surrounded by vineyards: its most prestigious wine is the Arneis. But a few Km away you enter the Barolo and Barbaresco districts as well as the Barbera wine region of Monferrato.
Here you can truffle and mushrooms hunt with Franco (in season), play tennis, enjoy the semi-Olympic pool at our Exclusive Country Club, cook and wine taste with Franco and Claudia, horseback with Claudia, trek on foot and on bike, play golf, paraglide, dine and wine with whomever you wish, or simply relax. You can also bring your pets: Junior and Teresa, our dog and cat will enjoy the company.

Town: Italy, Roero, CanaleCanale, a town of 5000 people, is the capital of the Roero wine district. Canale is a very charming little town witn plenty of gourmet shop, pastry shop, ice cream parlors, butchers, bakers, cheese shops, fresh vegetable and fruit shops, and supermarkets. It hosts a weekly open air market very well attended by locals. It is also home of few excellent restaurants and pizza parlors, including a one Michelin star restaurant.At the Enoteca you can sample the best of Roero wines, from our best known Arneis, to our Roero Superiore and Barbera d\\\'Alba.
