Gorgeously located cottage, directly on the lake of Holmsjön, 20 km from the centre of Malung. Distances to: Stockholm 320 km, Göteborg 420km, Malmö 710km.

Pier with rowboat at the beach, which is fully private. Enter the lake for swimming directly from the plot.

Spacious covered terrace facing south and west, offering a stunning view of the lake. Here is the principal dining table - where you will have most of your meals. Here is also the LPG fired grill – ready to cook your catches from the lake.

The cottage is charmingly primitive - there is no electricity. Lighting comes from candles and oil lamps. Drinking water is collected from a well on the lot.

The living room has sofa corner in front of the fireplace. From here you have large windows overlooking the lake through the terrace room.

The kitchen, lacking running water, is equipped with wood stove, LPG stove & oven, LPG fridge and a dining table.

In the Master bedroom is a double bed. The windows offers a splendid view of the lake.

The guest house is equipped with two bunk beds i.e. sleeps (4) persons. Here is also a (bed-) sofa in front of the fireplace. And another large window with charming lake view.

The sauna building directly on the beach contains a wood fired sauna, a simple (camping shower) and a small relax area with breathtaking views over the lake.

As an option, when requested in advance, a 15 hp outboard motor is available for weekly rentals to supplement the row boat (included). Separate privy.

Good fishing opportunities: Perch and Pike.

The perfect remedy for body and soul. Open spaces, dense forests, highlands, mountains, beautiful sceneries and foremost the four distinct seasons. Traditions are very strong in Dalarna and in particular in the area around Malung. Clothing, art music, handicraft etcetera, all is a natural part of life. Visit a museum, a concert or an exhibition to get a glimpse of the region´s culture life.

SEASONS AND PRICE RANGE
During Mid- and High season (late June, July, August), the normal rental period is minimum two (2) weeks. Change day: Saturday.

WEEKLY RATES (incl. Firewood, LPG gas, Rowboat and two Mountain bikes:
- High season: SEK 7200-7900
- Low season: SEK 5800-6500

You are expected to leave the house neat and clean. We provide the cleaning materials.
