Description of objectThe house is fully furnished and equipped for 4 persons. By making use of the sleeper chairs, this can be extended to a maximum of 6 people.
Layout:
On the ground floor there is the entrance with space for parking two bicycles and a charging point for electric bicycles. From the entrance you enter the hall where the rooms of the ground floor come out. Successively that are the large bathroom with double sink, bath, shower and toilet. The (children\'s) bedroom with two single beds (box spring) and the master bedroom, also with two single beds (box spring). In the master bedroom a cot can be added on request. Through the main bedroom you reach the garden with terrace. Through the staircase in the entrance you reach the upper floor with landing, 2nd toilet and living room with open kitchen. The living room has a TV. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a 4-burner stove. In addition there are a coffee maker, kettle, toaster and oven available. From the living room you have a fantastic view of the IJsselmeer.

Location of objectSchellinkhout originated from the former peat river The Dregt. The stronger banks in the wet peat were the only places that were suitable for habitation. The village road winding through the landscape clearly shows the track of the historical course of this river. The village is characterized by orchards, wide views and historic buildings such as the town house, the church and many traditional farmhouses.
In earlier times Hoorn lay at the Zuiderzee and was the seat of the trading company the Dutch East India Company (VOC). From the port of Hoorn voyages were made to the Far East. In Hoorn there are the warehouses, the East India House and other visible traces of VOC. The West Frisian Museum shows the history of the VOC.

It is located to bike junction 62 and on cycling distance (4 km) from the historic town of Hoorn. Behind the dike, less than 50 meters from the house, is the recreation area Uiterdijk consisting of sunbathing areas and playing fields to the water of the IJsselmeer. An ideal place to sunbathe, play, swim or surf.
