Historic mansion that the french painter Édouard Alexandre Sain once owned, located in the heart of Anacapri just under the tiny square of the village that is considered a jewel in the island, La Tranquilla is the tipical and genuine casa caprese (capri\'s house).
From the view of our terraces, that were the atelier of E. Sain, a number of famous portraits came to life, views of the island of Ischia among many others and it is simple to understand why the artist choosed the isle of Capri as his home in the year 1864 (His biography: Souvenirs d\'Italie.
