Description of objectYour holiday in WijdlandOn the harbor with fantastic views of the Eemmeer. The comfortable bungalows are in a small park with 35 houses. The convenient location to the cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht and Amersfoort, but also National Park De Hoge Veluwe. A holiday here offers tranquility, space and nature. The central location also ideal for excursions to discover goose Netherlands. In 200 meters is a sandy beach. The center of Spakenburg with its famous Saturday market and shops is approximately 750 meters. It is famous for its terraces, the costumes, museums and Botter Haven. In the east it borders Nijkerk (Province of Gelderland). Bunschoten - Spakenburg lies in the somewhat swampy, located slightly below sea polders around the river Eem flowing from Amersfoort to Eemmeer. The Eemmeer is a border lake of IJsselmeer here mostly diked (See: Flevoland). Previously lived Bunschoten from livestock (which is still partly the case), and Spakenburg was a fishing village. Fishing and fish processing plants still exists, but Spakenburg is now known for its bread factories. This bread is primarily sold in markets throughout the Netherlands. Tourism is also growing in importance. Spakenburg is, as Urk, an old fishing village. Then the fisherman has a dangerous, highly specific nature of the perils of occupation, it is obvious that you, more than in other professions, pray to God for happiness and a lack of disasters. Spakenburg is a strongly religious community, where one leaves home to go to church on Sundays only.
