The elevated and unique place provides privacy as well as 360° views and just 900 m from the sea. The south coast of Sardinia , where the villa is situated , is one of the most unspoiled on the island, with undisturbed coves and beaches. The sea water is considered to be the cleanest and rich in flora and fauna. There is coral and myriad species of seaweed, a wide variety of fish, crustaceans and molluscs and marvellous rock formations for naturalists, snorkellers and scuba divers to enjoy. Dolphins are frequently seen riding the waves. Our house stands in a quiet and peaceful place with the terrace facing the sea, private garden of flowers, olive trees, Mediterranean maquis. The shrubs- including myrtle, arbutus and blackthorn - flower in spring, rest in summer and revive again in autumn. Even in winter it looks green, with splashes of colour from berries. Here You can see a great variety of natural habitats for wildlife. The cliff edge, birds of prey such as the peregrine falcon, the red kite and the rare griffon vulture, build their nests. The wild rabbits come offten to visit us:) B&B “Roberta” is located in the South of Sardinia between the capital Cagliari and a famous sandy beach Villasimius. It is 25 km away from Cagliari - Elmas Airport and 20 km from the sea port of capital. In Area near by, You can choose from the many watersports including windsurfing, sea kayaking, sailing or scuba diving which can be organised. Whather You are a serious hiker or simply You can enjoy a stroll in beautiful surroundings. It is 30 km from airport Elmas and 25km from the sea port of Cagliari.Town: Italy, Sardinia, Quartu Sant ElenaQuartu Sant'Elena is a city and comune in the Province of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. It is the third biggest city of Sardinia with a population of c. 71,000.The first traces of human presence in Quartu are from the Phoenician period, as attested by findingsin Cepola, Geremeas, Is Mortorius and Separassiu localities. Roman findings were found near Sant’Andrea villa, a graveyard at S. Martino and a few tombs at Simbirizzi. From an artistic point of view, there are five interesting churches situated in the city. The most important are the churches of Sant'Elena Imperatrice (dating before 1589, but now in Neo-Classic lines and recently proclaimed 'Basilica'), Santa Maria Cepola (before 1089) and Sant'Agata. There is also Sa dom’e farra (house museum). It is a large peasant house of the 17th century, where you can see various rooms, objects and tools used by the peasant society. There are numerous nuraghi in the neighbourhood. Quartu has a long, shallow coastline. It also looks onto the pond of Molentargius, where flamingos and Sultan roosters nest. Quartu also produces excellent wines, bread and cakes. Although the city is not extremely big, there are many shopping opportunities: Carrefour, E. Leclerc-Conad, Iper Pan. The most important religious festivity is dedicated to Saint Elena and is celebrated on the 14th September.
