Description of objectThe Mulberry
A traditional rural structure renovated in 2010, The Mulberry is a countryhouse of 200 square metres situated in a magnificent natural environment in the peaceful countryside of the Marche region of Italy. Winding among farmhouses and wheat, corn, sorghum and sunflower fields dotted with oaks, olive trees and mulberries, a dirt road links the house to the beaches on the Adriatic coast, quaint historic towns in the hills and pleasant locations in the Apennines. The main brick walled building is surrounded with a level grass lawn on all sides and enjoys a relaxing view on the hills of Pesaro.
The inside of the countryhouse is decorated in shades of white, ochre and brown, characterised by the traditional exposed wood ceiling beams and the cotto floor. The ground floor is composed of a kitchen that opens onto an outdoor paved terrace fitted with table and chairs, a dining room, a sitting room with a cast iron stove, a small bathroom, a double bedroom with a bathroom and an office. On the first floor two bedrooms and a bathroom. A detached pink stucco addition serves as a washing room with bathroom and as storage.
