The building has a lift.It is located only at 100 mt from the main sandy beach (the famous "velvet beach") and only 200 mt from the historical town centre, with many restaurant, pizzeria, cafes and shops of high standard. Seafood and ice-cream are the speciality of the area! Location of objectThe apartmanet is located between the town centre and the beach. It is only 18 km from the "raffaello sanzio" airport of Ancona-falconara to which Ryanair flyies everyday from the major towns europe. The train station is less than 1 km away and by train one can go not only very easily within the region but also outside (rimini is only 40 minutes by train).The town itsself is a perfect location, because with 30 minutes up to 1 hour only of driving, you can visit the beautiful Frasassi Caves (definitely worth a visit) and historical towns like Ancona (the main city of the region), Iesi, Urbino and Pesaro. Plenty to visit if you like medieval and rinascimental art. In the Marche area you can find "italy in one region", because not only there are beautiful artistic and historical centres but the are also breathtaking landscapes going, not only along the coast (sirolo and numana are only 30 minutes away) but also along the hills that preceed the mountain range. The ideal clima also has allowed the production of high standard wines going from the Verdicchio to the Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno, all winning awards in many national and international competition. The name derives from the earliest - the Galli Senoni, a Celtic tribe who settled here around the 4thC BC.Later it became and important mercantile port and still today its old centre has a certain solid mercantile grandeur, particularly in the tall old blocks that line the canal. One of the finest monument is represented by the old fort, the Rocca Roveresca, that has been built in 1480. Today it is still open for visiting and it is used for art exhibition. It is surronded by a courtyard that in summer holds classical music concerts. Senigallia's other great pride is the number of good restaurants where you can, naturally, eat the best of the Adriatic catch.
