Description of objectMilton Park is a cosy little farm situated in the heart of New Zealand's Bay of Islands, an area famous for it's natural beauty, Maori and early European history and relaxed way of life.
Milton Park comprises of open farmland. Sheep, cattle, horses, pigs, chickens, and dogs are all resident there. The gardens include a large organic vegetable garden, an orchard and extensive lush sub-tropical landscaping with a huge array of plants, birds, wildlife and historic native trees all of which imparts a feeling of peacefulness to all visitors.
The holiday cottage is situated close to, yet separate from, the main house and is very private. A deck extending the width of the cottage is accessed from the lounge and both bedrooms. All rooms have unrestricted views across paddocks to native bush and benefits from sunshine all day long.
Being a purpose built holiday cottage, Milton Park is able to cater for a wide variety of guests. Honeymoon couples, families, independent travellers exploring New Zealand, business travellers and disabled guests will all be equally welcome and will be comfortably accommodated. In addition to this if your party requires a little extra space a one bedroom flat under the main house is also available and camping in the garden can be arranged on request.
Location of objectKnown as the 'winter-less north', the Bay of Islands is a cluster of over 144 islands with sheltered coves and sandy beaches extending into the blue pacific - the perfect location for sailing, surfing, big game fishing, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins and numerous other land and water based activities. The Bay of Islands also offers vineyards and fine dining as well as a delightful arts and crafts culture.
Most of these attractions are within 20 minutes of Milton Park making it the perfect base to explore while offering very secluded and peaceful surroundings with only the sounds of the birds to wake you in the morning. Whatever you choose to do, Wolfgang's local knowledge will be invaluable and he is happy to arrange bookings for you.
