Description of objectGround floor cottage in a two storeys house, with a large front-side garden and a rear loom in exclusive property. There are two large double bedrooms, a double room (living room and dining room), indipendent and usable kitchen with separate stall for cooking and washing service, two bathrooms. A separate small closet, used as a service room, may be provided with ansupplemental bed). Wahing machine, dish automatic washing, stereo, television and computer are availabel (no phone or internet services). Two cars may be parked in the access lane. It is located at the extreme fringe of the village, but only two hundred meters from the village center and 2 km from the sea. It is generally used by proprietors and is rented all services included on a familial basis, just in order for paying estate tax and save the property from the voracious Italian Government.

Town: Italy, Syritide (Syris-magna grecia), PolicoroPolicoro is an historical location. It was colonized by greeks (athen) in the III century BC with the name of Herakleya. The archeological site and and a very interesting annexed museum are free to visit. The near town of Metaponto was the starting point for greek colonization. Subsequently was dominated by Normands and by Fredrick the 2nd, who buil the near fortress of Rocca imperiale (may be visited) as protection aginst continuous strikes of muslim forces. To day it is mostly a touristic location for families, provided with a large 10 km sea shore, a small harbour, accomodation facilitie. It is well connected to many historical and /or naturalistic localities like the UNESCO town of Matera (50 km); Taranto (most important ancient greece jewelry museum); Tursi (a completely arabian village but, also, the location of the arci-bishop palace).
