Description of objectThe holiday farmhouse has a large lounge with comfortable seating for 7 including a sofa bed, Portuguese satellite TV (some English channels), CD/DVD player, books and games and a dining table and chairs. The well equipped kitchen has a gas stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. The main double bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom and a small terrace. The second double bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds, there is also another separate shower room. The private garden has a BBQ and outside dining furniture with views across the vineyards and apple orchards of Alagoa to Arganil and the distant mountains.
Location of objectThe farmhouse is in a quiet location in the village of Alagoa approx. 1.5kms from the main district town of Arganil. The house is approached by a quiet lane that leads on to the apple orchards and the local vineyards of the village.
Town: Portugal, Arganil, ArganilArganil is the main district town with supermarkets, shops, restaurants and cafes, there is entertainment in the square at the weekend during the summer. The river is 500ms from the house and the river beach at Sarzedo, where the council have also built a swimming pool, is less than 2 kms away and can be reached by a short walk. There is another pretty river beach in Secarias approx. 2 kms away where you can hire pedaloes and there are restaurants and cafes there.
