There is also a café / bar / tabac, restaurants and post office. Twice weekly the charcuterie and primeur visit the market square and in the summer Puivert hosts a regular Wednesday evening market. The market is where locals sell their produce, meet and have that little drink in the beautiful summer evening sun.Just further a field, is the local village of Chalabre which has its own regular market, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks, chemists, bars, doctors and petrol station. Other local towns include Quillan, Espereza, Miropoix and Lavalanet all offering a full range of services.
